One kiss lasts a moment.
But a thousand kisses can last a lifetime.
A bond that is forged in an instant and cherished for a decade.
A bond that neither time nor distance can break.
A bond that will last forever.
Or so they believe.
When seventeen-year-old Rune Kristiansen returns from his native Norway to the sleepy town of Blossom Grove, Georgia, where he befriended Poppy Litchfield as a child, he has just one thing on his mind. Why did the girl who was one half of his soul, who promised to wait faithfully for his return, cut him off without a word of explanation?
Rune’s heart was broken two years ago when Poppy fell silent. When he discovers the truth, he finds that the greatest heartache is yet to come.
(Disregard the ‘I feel so alone’)
That is my face when I cried while reading this… Yes, it made me cry hard. It gave me much heartbreak from the first few chapters until the end. And I didn’t expect that it will caused me extreme sadness and pain, and I also smile at times when my heart is touched from the unconditional love Rune and Poppy had. Their love is so overwhelming and they really proved that their love is ‘Forever Always.’
This is a beautiful story of young and everlasting love. Though it is just too heartbreaking. I love how they didn’t let shortcomings stop them from living their life and loving each other unconditionally.
OMG I DON’T KNOW WHT ELSE TO SAY BECAUSE THE FEELS IS JUST TOO MUCH. I swear!! But I want you guys to read it. You’ll be inspired with their story and realize that there is more to life than the challenges that we are facing.
WHY DO THEY HAVE TO LEAVE THIS WORLD SO IN LOVE AT A VERY YOUNG AGE T_T
Poppy was so strong, knowing that she’s just a teenager.
Poppy and Rune’s love is so overwhelming. They have been through the worst yet they still managed to be together and rekindle the fire in their love that was once broken into pieces.
BUT the ending fits the whole story. Thank you Tillie. I was kinda relieved when I read the ending because I know that they won’t be sad anymore because they were together again and won’t be separated forever. ❤
“She knew she had me, just as much as I had her.”
“Maybe we loved too much too young and burned so bright that we had to fade out.”
“Because I still loved him as much as I always had.”
“I was going to lose the only reason I lived.”
“Why be miserable when you can be happy? It’s an obvious choice to me.”
“Perhaps it’s a lesson we may struggle to learn until it’s learned.”
“When you’re near, my heart doesn’t sigh, it soars.”
“But for those left behind, their pain only magnifies.”
