This is the first Abbi Glines’ book that I’ve read and I love it!

At first I was expecting a story that is a cliche, but it wasn’t. Abbi Glines took this contemporary to the next level. She tackled important issues that some people went through at a young age. And how the characters coped with it.

Maggie and West met in a very unusual way, and a somewhat coincidence. They are different but they found something within to understand each other. I just don’t like that West didn’t cut off girls early when he already leans on to Maggie, though he used it as a way of easing the pain. They are both naive about their own feelings because the pain that they have experienced overpowers every feeling they have.

Btw, I like Brady! Because he was an asshole at first but he became protective when it comes to Maggie. ❤

What I like about this book is that the story isn’t a cliche. And it can really be inspiring to other people who are experiencing the same thing. It left me lessons about family, love, and life.

West is just avoiding what his father and his family is experiencing… Until Friday night.
